Compounds

Buffing Compounds are very abrasive polishes used to bring out gloss and smooth the texture on painted surfaces. Usually done after painting to rectify paint defects or applied to old, weathered, heavily oxidised and scratched paint, to restore the surface to its original lustre.Usually applied with a buffing machine by professional painters and automotive detailers but some compounds can also be applied by hand to remove minor scratches. After compounding the use of a swirl remover, wax and or glaze may be required. We have an extensive range of compounds with varying degrees of abrasiveness to suit the right application.
