Polishes & Glazes

Polishes contain abrasives and restore gloss. Most polishes do not offer long term surface protection. The abrasive portion of a polish removes a thin layer of coating to expose fresh, undamaged coating which ultimately restores the gloss. Glazes contain finer abrasives and are generally applied by hand. They produce a higher level of gloss and longer term surface protection. Some polishes contain waxes and some don't. This means that you must read the product label to determine whether you want a product with waxes and fillers. The Malco and Presta polish ranges do not use waxes, silicones, or fillers in its polishes and are body shop safe.
